Introducing The 2R2 Protocol: A Combination of NFT Marketplace and DeFi
The non-fungible token (NFT) market is all the rage nowadays. NFTs are an explosive market sector in the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies. Lately, we have witnessed that the NFT is not just a passing trend but rather a storehouse of massive value. NFTs have opened up endless possibilities and opportunities that the art and crypto markets are using to sell art.
NFTs are becoming a new tool that the art and crypto markets are using to sell art, but this approach has already proven to have one major flaw — the current NFT market lacks a secondary market and has no room to grow. Collectors have hard time measuring the value of Art NFTs and the Liquidity of these assets can be one-sided due to speculators trading.
With this in mind, we are excited to present the 2R2 protocol, an ingenious and innovative NFT marketplace with a combination of decentralized finance(aka.DeFi).
What is 2R2 protocol?
The foundation of the 2R2 Protocol is the world’s first collector-oriented artist development system and a new type of NFT marketplace. The Protocol is designed to provide a paradigm shift in the art market. It’s the main goal to incentivize both collectors and creators with a positive virtuous cycle by utilizing the core mechanisms of DeFi.
By implementing the core ideas behind DeFi, the 2R2 Protocol enables collectors to participate and receive rewards. Collectors can either vote or hold NFTs within the platform and obtain sustainable income by receiving 2R2’s governance token, known as “VOTE”. Furthermore, these votes from the collectors can incentivize not only the collectors but the creators of the NFTs that have been voted on, which eventually encourages more creators to participate in the protocol by minting and listing their artworks.
