Welcome to the third part of our coverage on 2R2’s offline events. In our previous article, we introduced how Art Token has been working hard to not only raise public awareness about the potential and benefits of NFTs through past exhibitions, but also to inject vitality into the local community through art.
In this article, we would like to invite you to join us in exploring the history of Art Token on the efforts we’ve done to raise mass adoption of NFT.
NFT ART 101 Conference 2022

Collaboration: Asia Economy, Ground X, Soongsil University
NFT Art 101 Conference 2022 was organized by the leading companies of their respective industries with the main host of Art Token. The conference focused on 5 main topics; Current and Future of NFT Market, NFT Art and Artists, Minting NFTs, Philosophy and Technology of NFT & DAO and the legal aspects of NFT art. Across these fields, a total of 25 experts have been invited to speak.
The conference was held successfully with around 500 attendees showing great interest in the NFT sector and Art Token. We delivered our message that NFTs are the origin of certifying the digital value of content, and that NFTs, Metaverse, and Web 3.0 will inevitably become the future. We expressed our ambition to build a positive virtual asset ecosystem and create meaningful NFT ecosystem for the future society.
Art Token plans to host the NFT 101 conference this year as well. We will provide more detailed event information through future announcements.
Exhibition at Gangdong Yangjae-daero Street Gallery

Venue: Gangdong Yangjae-daero Street Gallery (Yangjae-daero 123-gil, Gangdong-gu, Seoul)
Public facilities such as bus stops and subway ventilation systems, as well as power equipment of KEPCO, which were previously not aesthetically pleasing due to graffiti and illegal advertisements in areas with high foot traffic, have been transformed into original cultural and artistic content through the hands of young artists.
In particular, popular artists from the animation, illustration, and pop art industries from Art Token were invited to capture the dynamic and lively appearance of changing Gangdong, as well as to attract the attention of the MZ generation by showcasing the charm of each field based on the past, present, and future of Gangdong.
Residents enjoyed the works of world-renowned visual artist ‘Vakki’ with dynamic color schemes along the pedestrian walkway, as well as the cheerful pop art of artist ‘Sung Tae-jin’, famous for Taekwondo V, and the works of the design leader crew ‘Stereo Type’ who captured the rich colors of the Gil-dong Nature Ecological Park.
Through this gallery street creation project, the district managed to improve the street environment, but also injected vitality into the street with various art works and lead local economic revitalization.

NFT Art 101 Conference 2022는 각 업계의 주요 회사들이 주최한 행사로, 주최자인 아트토큰을 중심으로 진행되었습니다. 이번 컨퍼런스는 다음 5가지 주제에 초점을 맞추어 진행되었습니다: NFT 시장의 현재와 미래, NFT 아트와 작가, NFT 발행, NFT 및 DAO의 철학과 기술, NFT 아트와 법률. 각 분야에서 총 25명의 전문가가 초청되어 발표를 진행했습니다.
이 컨퍼런스에는 약 500명의 참석자들이 NFT 산업과 아트토큰에 대한 큰 관심을 보이며 성공적으로 개최되었습니다. 우리는 NFT가 콘텐츠의 디지털 가치를 인증하는 원본이라는 메시지를 전달하였으며, NFT, 메타버스, 웹 3.0가 부인할 수 없는 미래가 될 것이라는 것을 강조하였습니다. 또한 긍정적인 가상 자산 생태계를 구축하고 미래 사회를 위한 의미 있는 NFT 생태계를 창출하고자 하는 포부를 밝힐 수 있었습니다.

강동 양재대로 거리 갤러리 전시

장소: 강동구 양재대로 거리 (강동구 양재대로123길 7)
유동인구가 많은 구간의 버스 승차대나 지하철 환기구, 한전 지상기기 등 낙서와 불법 광고물이 더해져 미관상 좋지 않았던 공공시설물이 젊은 예술작가들의 손을 거쳐 독창적인 문화 예술 콘텐츠로 다시 태어난 거리 갤러리 전시였습니다.
특히, 변화하는 강동의 역동적이고 활기찬 모습을 담아내면서 동시에 MZ세대들의 발길을 끌 수 있도록 애니메이션, 일러스트, 팝아트계의 인기 작가들을 통해 강동의 과거와 현재, 미래를 주제로 각 분야별 매력을 뽐낼 수 있었습니다.
주민들은 보행로를 따라 걸으며 역동적인 컬러감의 세계적인 비주얼 아티스트 ‘빠키(Vakki)’와 태권브이로 유명한 ‘성태진’ 작가의 유쾌한 팝아트, 길동자연생태공원의 풍부한 색채를 담은 디자인 리더 크루 ‘스테레오타입(Stereo Type)’의 작품을 감상할 수 있었습니다.
강동구는 거리 갤러리 조성사업으로 거리 환경을 개선하는 동시에, 다채로운 예술 작품으로 거리에 활기를 불어넣어 지역경제 활성화를 이끌 수 있었으며 아트토큰은 선진 웹3 기업으로서 이름을 알릴 수 있었습니다.
